Adventured into downtown Kent today and came across the cutest little park along the Cuyahoga River. John Brown Tannery Park lies beneath the bustling downtown and was the perfect sanctuary for a quite afternoon stroll. There was a mini waterfall over the dam, a beautiful arched bridge and lots of wooden paths decorated with charming old lamp posts.

Reminiscing on the beginning of summer when school felt so far away. Despite my excitement for the coming semester and what lies ahead, I will always remember my last summer "home." Though that may be somewhat of a fluid term at this point in my life, I am forever grateful for the town I grew up in and

And just like that I am entering my sophomore year of college...except this time in a new city and state. Though this journey may not always be easy, I am comforted by the prospect of a new beginning. Wandering around the outskirts of town today, I found a hike and bike trail along the Cuyahoga River. It was
